More new homes are coming soon to a great Gwinnett County location! Early this summer, two beautiful homes built by J. Scott Properties will be released for sale at Ivy Springs, a well-established community in Bethlehem, Georgia.

Quiet, Convenient Location

Ivy Springs is situated near the Gwinnett County line, close to Dacula and an easy drive to Athens. It is minutes from GA-316 and is convenient to Hwy 78, but still removed from much of the traffic and noise in busier parts of Gwinnett. There are great restaurants, shopping centers, parks and schools all within easy reach of this great community. Opportunities here are extremely limited, so it's one you don't want to miss.

Spring is just around the corner. The official first day of the season is March 20th, but rain showers and warmer temps have redbuds, daffodils, and dogwoods blooming already. If you’ve been paying attention to real estate in Metro Atlanta, you know the busy spring market arrived early and continues to charge along. It’s a great time to list your home and get top dollar, while competition for homes remains high and interest rates remain low. Don’t leave any money on the table – use our quick Spring Cleaning Checklist to get your home in tip-top shape.

Are you currently renting and trying to decide if homeownership is right for you? The decision to rent a home or buy one can be especially hard in today’s housing market. After all, home prices have skyrocketed over the past two years and so have rental costs. Could your money be better used in the investment of a home? Consider these five important factors as you deliberate:

2021 was the year of SOLD. So many Peggy Slappey Properties clients saw their homes sell over asking price, with minimum days on the market, many to all-cash buyers who never saw the home in person. Multiple offer situations were the norm in 2021, as buyers flooded the market, which remained at near record low inventory in the metro Atlanta area for much of the year. This seller’s market was a dream come true for those looking to sell but caused headaches for buyers… and buyer’s agents.

Now that 2022 is here, the question on everyone’s mind is: Will home prices come down this year?

There is great news predicted for housing in the coming year. According to the experts at Realtor.com, home prices are expected to keep rising, but at a much slower

It was great to see everyone at the Peggy Slappey Properties client appreciation festival this past Saturday, October 23rd. The event is held each year as the leaves begin to change and is a fantastic opportunity for PSP clients - both old and new - to gather and enjoy some fall fun.

This year's event was held at the Buford Corn Maze. Over 700 RSVPs were received, and PSP agents turned out in force to greet everyone as they trickled in from 1pm until 6pm. There was cotton candy, a balloon artist, barbecue lunch, and a pumpkin for each family. Guests explored the corn maze, took a hayride, played on the jumping pillow, and posed for photos with photographer Jpegs By JGlo. If you or your family posed for the camera, look for an email with
