Each year, thousands of Gwinnett County consumers cast their votes to decide what businesses are the “Best of Gwinnett.”  We are excited to announce that Peggy Slappey Properties won in 2016’s Real Estate category! 

Thiry-five years ago, Peggy Slappey Properties began in one tiny office with the expectation that home ownership should not simply be a dream, but an obtainable possibility for every person willing to pursue it. That goal is what continues to fuel us and inspire our agents to go above and beyond industry standards.

Our amazing agents deserve the lion’s share of congratulations for the “Best of Gwinnett” recognition.  Each day, they represent the Peggy Slappey Properties name with honest, conscientious service.  Every one of our licensed agents is also a REALTOR, a member of the National Association of Realtors and subject to a code of ethics.  Through continuous training opportunities, they are experts in every facet of residential real estate, including resales, new home construction, foreclosures, short sales, and even rental properties.  More importantly, our agents truly care about their clients and understand how to tailor their services to each family’s unique needs.

We also have a long history of involvement in the communities where we serve. Peggy Slappey Properties is a long-time financial sponsor of our local schools and the Gwinnett Gladiators, and we actively support local charities, collecting baby items each year for HomeAid Atlanta, raising funds for children’s shelters, and participating in numerous fundraising walks and runs in our area.  We care deeply about the Gwinnett County communities we work and live in, and we consider it our privilege to participate whenever possible.

That’s also why we maintain a strong industry presence, where policy decisions are made that can affect potential homeowners across Gwinnett County and Metro Atlanta.  Our founder, Peggy Slappey, is an active member of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association and serves as a federal political coordinator with the National Association of Realtors, fighting for our industry at both the state and national levels.  She has also served as President of the North Atlanta Metro Association of Realtors (NAMAR).  Many of our agents also hold leadership positions in industry groups, like the Home Builders Association, the Sales and Marketing Council, and the Women’s Council of Realtors, and we continue to encourage that involvement.
