  1. Disconnect garden hoses.  Drain the hoses appropriately before storing for the winter.
  2. Turn off water to outside faucets by using the valve inside your home.  Drain the remaining water by allowing it to run until dry. Use insulating faucet covers for further protection.
  3. Turn off your sprinkler system and blow compressed air through the lines to

Have last-minute showings planned before the first of the year?  Buyers at the holidays are often highly motivated with a pressing reason to buy, so if your home is scheduled for showings, keep it in top form to bring in the best offers.

  1. Keep holiday décor to a minimum.  No matter what you’re celebrating this holiday season, your treasured decorations can distract buyers and even make your home feel smaller than it is.  Cut your decorations by half, at least, and keep the remainder in storage until next year.
  2. Make the kitchen smell sweet.  The smell of baking cookies or a cinnamon-scented candle will welcome buyers and immediately make them feel more at home.
  3. Use seasonal greenery.  Even if you don’t have a Christmas tree, a fresh wreath

Each November, the Greater Atlanta Home Builder’s Association (HBA) and the Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) present the OBIE Awards.  The awards ceremony and dinner took place this past Saturday in downtown Atlanta, and PSP had a great night celebrating excellence in the building industry.

WHAT ARE THE OBIES?

The OBIES are given to recognize outstanding achievement in new home building, marketing, remodeling, and personal achievement categories. Named after the obelisk shape of the physical award given, the OBIEs are the premier awards in the new home construction industry.

OBIE Award recipients truly stand out among their peers, and PSP continues to celebrate all who were recognized, especially our PSP partners:
